Senior C++ developer with experience in embedded Linux environments like Yocto and a fascination for clean code and Git.

I have been working as an embedded C++ developer at Supercomputing Systems AG in Zurich since 2014. My specialization is in embedded ARM systems running a Yocto-based Linux, and profiling and optimizing high-performance applications. Most of our applications at the High-Performance Department are distributed systems, where not only the CPU performance but also the network speed and reliability are important. Additionally, I have 3 years of experience in teaching C++ and low-level programming to bachelor’s students at FHNW in Windisch. Some technical aspects that I personally focus on are clean code, well-structured and efficient code reviews based on Git, and reproducible and reusable infrastructure based on Ansible and/or Docker.
